Meetings occur on the second "Tuesday" monthly in the Zenger Room of The National Press Club, 14th & F Streets N.W., Washington, DC

The Urban Journalism Workshop will start this spring. More details on this will come soon.

Meeting #2 - March 11, 2008

Board elections will be held for the following positions: president, vice president, treasurer, secretary, parliamentarian and three board seats. Please come out and support your fellow members.

Panel Discussion: Race, Gender and the Elections - March 26, 2008

The discussion will be held at the Atlantic Journal headquarters at the Watergate. After the discussion, we'll have a cocktail/networking event that's open to all WABJ members.

Networking Event at The Park - April 3, 2008

We'll be hosted by the city of Philadelphia's tourism agency. The mayor of Philly will be there, as will two members of Congress. Mayor Fenty has been invited. The Park is located at 920 14th Street, NW Washington, DC.
